Kootenay-Columbia Farmers' Markets

Support small business and local food

Farmers' markets are a great way to support local small businesses and farmers, source delicious, healthy local food, have a lot of fun and build community.  We are very fortunate in Kootenay-Columbia to have farmers' markets in nearly all of our communities.

Keep your eyes open for Wayne. Throughout the summer, he will be touring our local farmers' markets, celebrating local food and talking with people about his Private Member's Bill C-281, which would create a National Local Food Day.
